This Spruce stand that we are removing is one of the first stands that was planted by the Ministry of Forests in the 1980's at this tree farm. This particular stand has run its course on tree improvement, gene conservation and forest health. Forest research centers play a critical role in tree breeding, seed production and forest genetics.
The Spruce stand will be removed and another tree species will be replanted.

Huska Holdings LTD was contacted to help and take care of a large demolition wood waste pile. This client was running out of room to stockpile wood waste due to some unforseen challenges.

Huska was up to the challenge and took this opportunity to put our experienced crew and our CBI 6400BT in action to provide quality feedstock for our client and a local Cogeneration Plant.

This compost feedstock that we have produced is going to local wineries to help control dust mites and noxious w**ds in the vineyard. This greenwaste compost not only helps our customers with the maintenance costs they are experiencing with some of their equipment but, it also provides them a better option for w**d control to protect their vineyard without having to use chemical base products.
