🍺 Quick Tip for Perfect Pours

When your FOB system does its job and stops the flow during a keg change, remember there will be one or more bubbles sitting in the line.

That single bubble might seem small, but it can cause multiple jugs of foam and unnecessary beer loss.

Proper keg change steps:

1️⃣ Change the empty keg for the full one.
2️⃣ Vent the FOB.
3️⃣ Walk the bubble up the line until the chamber is completely full of beer.
4️⃣ Reset the FOB by twisting the k**b up and down or pushing up the k**b, and pulling down depending on your model.

Taking 10 extra seconds can save beer, money, and frustration behind the bar.

Check out the before and after photos of a cooler we recently took over. It had open glycol lines causing moisture issues, a stainless board with uncured wood on the back, 17 gas leaks, and multiple gas call-outs due to said leaks. Now, it features galvanized steel mounting boards, properly insulated glycol lines, and a leak-free system. If your establishment uses regular stout gas with no blender and goes through 2-3 tanks of premixed gas weekly, give us a call at 778-265-4422 ext 1.
