Furthermore, the float tank is a sensory surrender experience therefore, the tank is absolutely absent from light, smell, sound, taste and since the water and the air are exactly skin temperature, this makes the water imperceptible to feel. Since our body naturally spends about 80% of our energy measuring out gravity or temperature and other maintenance energy dispensers, to find homoeostasis. Therefore, when you hop in the float tank, you free up that 80% of your bodies energy to put where it needs it most, so it will naturally go to distressing the body, muscle recovery if your an athlete, information integration if you're a student, healing an illness... or you can also consciously direct that energy to imagination, self-exploration, creativity, whatever it may be, the float tank provides a hyper-focused environment for optimization in many domains.
