Removal of rock outcropping in the way of Hwy #1 at 3 Valley Gap. It will also serve as an avalanche snow ditch in front a of avalanche path.

Highway 1 Chase BC, fixing a broken stretch of Hwy due to a natural slide.
Delicate Precision blasting. You can see the rock pull away from the back wall, while controlling the muck and spilling it into the catch basin belo w along with the blasting mats. Great fragmentation as well.
All while protecting the new bridge below and the retaining wall above.

Proud to be working along side the experience of MOTI Spencer King and Roctech’s Ken Steitzer.
Teamwork is what is needed to repair this broken stretch of Hwy after a natural slide.

Repairing a broken stretch of Hwy 1 at Chase BC, after a natural slide came down and disrupted the new Hwy upgrade.
A near perfect blast.
Scroll through the blast with your finger and you will see the wave of energy flow through the rock shooting the wall face holes last.
Keeping the PPV vibration levels low to protect the retaining wall above us and protecting the new bridge below us.
Good fragmentation and muck movement control.
Great team work between MOTI , CIF, Roctech, All Type Drilling and MLP, following the SS204 BC Hwys doctrine.

Excited to introduce the newest member of the Sentinel snow control family: The Sentinel 2000 "Mini", AKA, the "French Press".

Designed to carry as 2 kilogram construction standard-grade 3-hole TNT booster.

It can be paired with a DJI M600, or a drone with a 6 kg payload capacity. The DJI M600 is a simple, easy-to-use, UAV system, which only requires entry level pilot certifications.

This system will be particularly effective at ski hills, where hand-charging occurs.
