An Emco Showroom Consultant is a front-line teammate who works in our Ensuite Bath & Kitchen Showroom across from Uptown Mall! As a Showroom Consultant you are expected to work with homeowners, builders, designer, and plumbers to select product to help them create world class kitchens and bathrooms. This role includes lots of onsite training, a friendly and safe work environment, and commitment to your success. The Ensuite Bath & Kitchen Showroom is a high-end space, and we expect the business and brand to be represented in a professional manner, while still adding some of your own personal sales style into the customer experience.

Job Duties:
- Assist showroom customers in assessing their needs, directing their product selections, and closing the sale.
- Develop and build strong relationships with designers, home builders and architects to grow profitable sales.
- Provide customers with quick reliable quotes and accurate delivery dates.
- Meet or exceed monthly and product specific sales and gross profit targets.
- Enter orders and quotes in the system, expedite purchases while maintaining proactive communication with customers.
- Investigate and resolve customer issues; address short payments and returns in a timely fashion that exceeds the customers’ expectations and benefits of the Profit Centre.
- Maintain product literature to ensure most current information is available to customers.
- Drive showroom sales through promotions and maintaining display materials.
- Understand and follow all safety regulations at all customer locations as well as at the Profit Centre.

- Perform any other reasonable duties as requested by immediate supervisor or Profit Centre Manager
Must haves:
- Outstanding customer service and verbal communication skills
- Comprehensive knowledge of product and value added service
- Excellent relationship building skills with customers, vendors and teammates
- Able to identify customer needs, provide solutions and close the sale
- High energy with strong communication skills
- Interest in kitchen and bath designer trends, able to suggest appropriate product to suit customers’ needs and promote the value-added services
- Project management skills
- Strong computer skills (MS Office, MS Excel, Sales ERP)
- Willing to invest a minimum of 40 hours in training annually
- Read, write, speak and understand either English or French
**Must be legally entitled to work in Canada**
Physical Demands:
Lifting - Occasionally, up to 25 lbs
Carrying - Occasionally, up to 25 lbs
Pushing/Pulling - Occasionally, up to 50 lbs
The following movements and senses are required in the job:
Hand and finger dexterity, kneeling, crouching, standing, reaching, talking, hearing, vision and depth perception.
Environmental Conditions
The teammate is exposed to the following conditions in the job:
Warehouses with limited climate control, potentially hazardous equipment (forklifts, ladders, metal strapping, hand tools, reach trucks). The Profit Centre may stock, sell and use hazardous material such as PVC cement, propane gas, solvents, etc. You may be required to handle these materials.
