Carson previously was a landscaper, and joined the Skilled Trades Employment Program (STEP) to access the support he needed to start his career as a plumber.

"My REPS, Dave, made the entire experience very easy by explaining everything in a clear and concise manner in regard to the apprenticeship process, and checking in every couple of weeks to ensure everything was going well for me at the company I am working for.

I would definitely recommend the STEP program to others if you are interested in a career in the trades or looking for a new start. As a matter of fact, I did recommend this program to a friend of mine and he is starting a new job as a framer very soon!"
