I’m excited to share that I’ve accepted a new opportunity as a part-time Business Development Contractor with 55 Sportswear!

Don’t worry…Mexico Land Ventures is alive & well. My client/business partner has a big heart, and loves creating companies that serve the local community! I’m involved to make sure his vision comes to life!

55 Sportswear is a local Greater Victoria company focused on making branded apparel easier for businesses, schools, teams and community organizations.

What really attracted me to 55 is the commitment to service and flexibility:

✅ Premium custom apparel
✅ Your own fully managed online store
✅ No bulk-order requirements
✅ No inventory or storage headaches
✅ Free local delivery
✅ Built-in, year-round fundraising opportunities

My role will be about building relationships, listening to what local organizations actually need and showing them there’s an easier, more personal way to handle their branded apparel.

I genuinely love helping people and building businesses - and I’m excited to help 55 Sportswear serve our local community!

If your business or organization needs branded apparel, staff clothing, custom merchandise or a fundraising store, I’d love to connect.

Let’s build a brand your community is proud to wear!

I just wanted to let everyone know that I've connected my WhatsApp to my business page, so if you have any questions about buying, investing, developing or retiring in Mexico, please drop me a message!

Honestly, don't be afraid to reach out about any questions that require legal representation in Mexico...we want to be your trusted partner.

In fact, I met with a contact this week that was inquiring about manufacturing in Mexico, because they are getting killed on the tariffs involved with shipping containers to Canada from Europe.

I'm here to help...let me know how I can serve you!

Yesterday, I had the opportunity to attend our weekly Business4Business online networking meeting.

Every week, we come together to connect, collaborate, and help each other grow.

We’re a group of trusted professionals who genuinely believe in referring business, sharing knowledge, and supporting one another. Every member is personally vouched for - there are no paid placement - just a circle of Victoria professionals who value integrity, relationships, and doing business the right way.

If that sounds like something you’d like to be part of, send me a DM. I’d be happy to invite you to one of our upcoming meetings.

The conversation we had this week really resonated with me.

Over the past few years, many business owners have experienced an increase in customers who are disrespectful or unreasonable, and who immediately turn to social media to criticize a business without sharing the full story.

Of course, we’re all incredibly grateful for the clients and customers who trust us. They’re the reason we get to do what we love. But the best business relationships are built on mutual trust and mutual respect - and that has to go both ways.

Kindness and flexibility should never be mistaken for weakness.

What concerns me most is how quickly years of hard-earned credibility can be damaged by a single online post. A business owner often can’t publicly share their side of the story without violating privacy or appearing defensive, leaving only one perspective for others to judge.

Constructive feedback is important. Honest reviews help businesses improve. But there’s a big difference between sharing a genuine experience and trying to damage someone’s reputation.

That’s why I believe it’s more important than ever to choose who we do business with carefully, lead with empathy, and surround ourselves with people who share our values.

At the end of the day, we’re here to lift each other up - not tear each other down.

One of the greatest lessons life has taught me is that nothing meaningful is built alone. Every successful person, business, and dream is the result of people working together, supporting one another, and believing in something bigger than themselves.

So be kind. Be patient. Give people grace.

At Mexico Land Ventures, that’s exactly how we approach every client relationship. We’re passionate about helping Canadians buy, invest, develop, and retire in Mexico safely and confidently. Whether you’re ready to take the next step or simply have questions, we’re always happy to share what we know, provide honest guidance, and help you make informed decisions.

After all, helping people isn’t just what we do - it’s why we do it.

Until next time, Salud!

Some of the best opportunities in business begin with a simple introduction.

A huge thank you to my good friend Sandy Ferrin for inviting me out yesterday to meet the new owners of Enrico Winery, soon to be rebranded as Telegraph Estate Winery.

If you haven’t been there yet, do yourself a favor and make the trip. It’s only about 30 minutes from Victoria, but it feels like you’ve been transported to a peaceful little oasis. The grounds are absolutely beautiful, the atmosphere is relaxing, and as you’ll see from some of the photos, it’s a pretty special place.

Of course, no visit would be complete without a wine tasting! They have an outstanding lineup, but my personal favourite was the Telegraph Pinot Grigio. 🍷

And if you’re planning to stay for lunch, our server extraordinaire, James Meyer, highly recommended the pizza…apparently it’s to die for! Needless to say, I’ll be back to put that recommendation to the test.

It was also a pleasure connecting with Rudy Tomazic, one of the new owners. Congratulations on this exciting new chapter! Wishing you and the entire team nothing but success as you launch Telegraph Estate Winery. I can’t wait to watch the journey unfold.

Finally, another heartfelt thank you to Sandy. As the Member Relations lead at the Duncan-Cowichan Chamber of Commerce., she is always looking for ways to create meaningful connections between local entrepreneurs, business owners, and professionals. She genuinely cares about helping others succeed, and it shows in everything she does.

If you’re looking to expand your network in the Cowichan Valley, I highly recommend reaching out to Sandy. She’s one of those people who makes introductions that matter.

Relationships like these have been incredibly valuable for México Land Ventures as we continue building our brand and expanding our network throughout Vancouver Island and beyond.

Until next time…Salud! 🍷

Currently camping with my family, which has become our Canada Day long weekend tradition, so I’ll keep this short.

Today I’m feeling especially blessed and grateful to live in a country like Canada.

We may not always agree on everything — and yes, even when our PM is trying to tax us into oblivion… insert laugh here — Canada is still a land of opportunity, freedom, community, and hope.

Today isn’t about politics.

Today is about unity.
Togetherness.
Fellowship.
Family.
Freedom.

It’s about appreciating the people, the places, and the privileges we sometimes take for granted.

To all my colleagues, friends, family, and fellow Canadians…

HAPPY CANADA DAY!!! 🇨🇦🤝🇲🇽

May we never forget how blessed we are to call this country home.

🇲🇽 Your Piece of Paradise in Puerto Vallarta Awaits…

I just got off the phone with my good friend and developer, Wes Rosso, and there are only 5 suites remaining at Paraguay 286 in the heart of Puerto Vallarta.

This boutique development checks all the boxes…

🏖️ Half a block from the beach
🚶 Steps from the famous Malecón, restaurants, cafés & nightlife
🏊 Stunning rooftop pool and lounge with panoramic views
✈️ Easy direct flights from more Canadian cities than ever before

Whether you’re looking for…

✅ A high-performing investment property
✅ A retirement getaway in paradise
✅ Or your own home away from home…

…this opportunity deserves a serious look.

Even better?

Once construction is complete (scheduled for early 2027), these professionally managed vacation rentals are projected to generate approximately $3,000 CAD per month in passive cash flow after all operating expenses, including HOA fees.

As always…

I’m not here to sell you real estate.

My role is to connect Canadians with trusted developers and ensure you have the right legal team protecting your investment every step of the way.

If you’d like pricing, floor plans, rental projections, or to schedule a call directly with the developer, send me a DM and I’ll personally make the introduction.

With only 5 suites remaining, now is the time to explore whether this opportunity is right for you.

Salud! 🇲🇽🤝🇨🇦

Well…I’m back! 😄

I’ve had a few issues with ownership of this page over the past little while, but thankfully that’s all been sorted out. Thanks for sticking with me!

Most people know me as a connector. That hasn’t changed one bit.

Over the past 25+ years in sales, marketing, and advertising, I’ve been incredibly fortunate to build relationships with some amazing people and businesses. Making introductions, opening doors, and helping people succeed is something I genuinely love.

So if there’s ever a way I can help you, connect you with someone, or point you in the right direction…please reach out. That’s what Crush Consulting has always been about—serving people first.

A big update…

I’m now working as a contractor with Mexico Land Ventures.

It’s been an exciting journey. My business partner (and client) is a lawyer from Guadalajara who owns multiple companies on both sides of the border. Together, we help Canadians confidently navigate the legal side of life in Mexico.

Whether you’re looking to invest, build, retire, or purchase real estate, we’re here to protect you every step of the way.

We also help with:
✅ Immigration & Residency
✅ Healthcare navigation
✅ Tax-related matters
✅ Airbnb regulations
✅ Timeshare issues
✅ Business setup
✅ Legal documentation
…and so much more.

One thing that’s important to know…

We’re not real estate agents.

I’m never going to try to convince you to buy property in Mexico.

But if you decide it’s the right move for you, I want to make sure you’re protected.

That’s why Mexico Land Ventures exists—to be your trusted legal partner in Mexico.

If you have questions, need advice, or simply don’t know where to start, send me a DM.

I’d love the opportunity to help.

❤️ Stephane
