My name is Elliston Carmichael, I was schooled in Barbados . I was always visual and hands-on, approaching learning from this angle. My electronic toys were disassembled often because of my curiosity too f
ind out how they operate. I became more serious about my technical skills and registered at the "Samuel Jackman Prescod Institute of Technology" and took an appliance Repair course. I left bin and relocated to Canada, and registered for a TV and microwave course, this focused more on the testing of components on PCBs and circuits. I started working in a repair center, in Montreal QC and I decided to stay on the technician path, where I started prepping units for a CSA approval. I was actually using tools of my trade and modifying unit and changing components. I then moved to become a full-time technician, I became a junior technician first. Now I am a full-time tech, repairing many different models from moving head light projector, led light, lasers projectors, powered and passive speakers, fog machines, and many more products. I work for a great company, being branded as one of Canada's Best Managed Companies five years running. I recently decided to go back to my roots, where this technician journey started by repairing home appliances and trying to start my own business. I am also a blessed father of my two boys my two mini ME’s. By doing this new venture I look forward to great things and also to inspired them at the same time.
