We say it every year, but it is so important. Do not vacuum up pine needles! Pine needles are the arch-enemy of vacuums everywhere. They can poke holes in the hose or filter bags, and they often cause clogs in the vacuum system. Depending on the type of vacuum, these clogs can even lead to motor damage.
Fun fact: All SEBO vacuums have safety features that are designed to prevent damage to the vacuum in the event of a clog. SEBO vacuums have either a bypass valve or an auto shut-off safety feature, or both! So if you encounter a clog of any kind, you can rest assured that it won't lead to damage to your vacuum...but you will still have to find and clear a clog ππ
Avoid this by using a tree skirt under your Christmas tree, or by cleaning up with a dust buster, a heavy-duty shop vac, or simply sweep up the needles as required. π
