Simply sharing this latest update from the Compassion Society should you be generous in your donations.

📢 Important Update: Clothing Donations Temporarily Paused

Compassion Society of Halton will be pausing clothing donations from July 23 to October 5, 2026.

We've simply run out of storage space, and the amount of clothing coming in from generous donors like you currently exceeds what our clients need. We're using this time to figure out a better system for managing donations, and we'll share updated guidelines when we reopen.

💛 Please don't hold onto your donations for us. There are several wonderful local organizations can put them to good use right now:

Each new year, we strive to achieve and embody new year’s resolutions and I’m ecstatic that I’ve kept this resolution! Well recognized as a regular donor with the employee and volunteer group, I have completed my 34th blood donation.

This life-changing connection supports individuals who undergo a variety of medical procedures and benefits the donor as well. With every donation, I receive a free mini health screening, my overall blood flow improves, and my body must replenish what I’ve donated, therefore new cells!

Check your eligibility regularly as the criteria changes frequently with more medical advancements. Let’s Go!
