Inspired by 4 year old Mia who discovered “coin machines” this summer ✨

When brainstorming the concept for the Hilton Canadian Meetings+Events Expo booth activation, we knew we wanted to align with our mission of community impact, while incorporating the findings of the Hilton 2026 Trends Report and the pillars of World’s Most Welcoming Events.

The nostalgia, joy, kindness, and impact of kindness capsules did just that.

A bright, simple, invitation to receive an uplifting message, and write one to return into the machine for another attendee to read. For each note added, $5.00 was donated to Kids Help Phone Official.

Thanks to all of you, Hilton has directly supported the services of Kids Help Phone, helping kids get the help they need, when they need it.

Hilton, thank you for your trust, collaboration and partnership.

And to my girl, thank you for reminding me to look for joy in the little things. And for being a continuous inspiration to do more good.

Did you know that on average 15-20% of food produced at events goes to waste (or is unused for the event itself). In some cases, there are incredible programs to redistribute it, but it’s not always the case.

Now what if we reallocated that budget in the first place to support our community needs? With even a small reduction in our order (waste), we can support local families in need, and engage our attendees in a hands-on program.

This was part of the conversation when we created this program alongside ConferenceDirect, IHG Hotels & Resorts, and the InterContinental Toronto for their annual CMEE customer lunch.

We discussed the rising cost of food, the needs of our communities, and the small changes we can make to serve them, while maintaining a level of service and experience our attendees expect.

Community investment, elevated. Giving back doesn’t need to be a separate event, it can be a part of your event.

Wendy La | Events & Weddings and her team did this beautifully, collaborating on a camp kit station as part of QuadReal Property Group’s Summer Camp themed event.

The station was inviting, engaging, and most importantly, impactful. Together, we’ve provided 300 curated summer camp kits to youth through our Toronto charity partners YWCA Toronto and University Settlement Toronto 💚

It’s official! WholeHearted is now available in Montreal with a local, bilingual facilitator available to host your groups and welcome your guests in both French and English. Last week we welcomed a lovely group of clients to do some good alongside our friends at Collection. Together, we planted 35 trees, assembled 20 birthday cake kits for local families, and handmade cards to accompany them.

C’est officiel! WholeHearted est maintenant disponible à Montréal avec une animatrice locale et bilingue pour accompagné tes groupes en français et en anglais. La semaine dernière, nous avons accueilli un merveilleux groupe de clients aux côtés de nos amis Gray Collection. Ensemble, nous avons planté 35 arbres, preparé 20 kits de gâteau d’anniversaire pour des familles locales et fabriqué des cartes à la main pour les accompagner.
