Larrek Investigations Our Team

The cornerstone of our success has been our investigative team and support personnel.

By investing in high caliber people and providing them with state-of-the-art equipment, we retain a team that has knowledge and experience that is the envy of our industry... some of the best minds in the business for discreet surveillance, reporting and investigative techniques. Our standards for investigators include past secondary training in security and investigation and a minimum of two years field experience. Our screening process ensure that our employees meet high standards, moral values, unmitigated honesty and passion in protecting personal integrity. In addition to a multi-stage interview process all investigators have passed a detailed reference investigation, background checks and confirmation of employment history. All investigators and support staff have successfully graduated from our comprehensive training program and fully indoctrinated in our high standards of business operations. Ethics, discretion and professional conduct is more than a marketing slogan, it is our uncompromised standard of operation.

September 30th each year marks the National Day of Truth and Reconciliation, otherwise known as Orange Shirt Day.

It is important to note that Larrek Investigations is located on the traditional territory of the Haudenosaunee, Anishinaabe and Neutral Peoples.
We acknowledge the deep traditional knowledge, philosophies, and enduring presence of the Indigenous peoples with whom we share this land today.

Orange shirt day was established in 2013 to honour the survivors of residential schools, those who did not survive and those who are living with the lasting effects of them today.

Phyllis Webstad began the movement when sharing her experiences of residential schools and how her new orange shirt had been taken from her on her first day of attendance.
Phyllis noted; "The colour orange has always reminded me of that and how my feelings didn't matter, how no one cared and how I felt like I was worth nothing. All of us children were crying and no one cared."

Today, we wear orange to commemorate and raise awareness of the intergenerational impacts of residential schools and to remind everyone that Every Child Matters.

Every single one of us holds responsibility for learning about the land we occupy, the history of Indigenous peoples that traditionally cared for this land and how our country is reconciling the historic and ongoing treatment of those individuals.
