This is a great example of why home monitoring can make such a difference for diabetic cats.

Monitoring blood glucose and performing glucose curves are an important part of managing feline diabetes, but as this video explains, stress from travel and a veterinary visit can significantly affect blood glucose readings. For many cats, collecting this information in the comfort of their own home provides a much more accurate picture of how they’re doing.

If the thought of checking your cat’s blood glucose at home feels overwhelming, you’re not alone. As a Registered Veterinary Technician, I can help make the process easier by:

🐾 Teaching you how to confidently monitor your cat’s blood glucose yourself.
🐾 Performing glucose curves in your home when needed.
🐾 Working alongside your veterinarian to help gather the information they need to make informed treatment decisions.

My goal is always to reduce stress for both pets and the people who love them while supporting the care plan created by your veterinarian.

If you have a diabetic cat and home glucose monitoring has been a challenge, I’d be happy to help. Feel free to send me a message to learn more about my services.
