Field trip to the Fire station 2 in Fenwick with 3 other local daycare !

Mr young, was so great about it,explained so much. He showed us the 3 different jaws of life, hose, all the life saving tools they have on board, how to put out small fires, grass fires, safety around electronics, battery scooters, bikes, hoverboard , phones, e-vehicles etc. they all got to hold the 45mm hose, learn how fast the water come out, the tanker only holds 7 minutes of water and so much more ! ck

Field trip to the green house yesterday. Saw a rainbow at the fountain , visited the iguana, chickens, and peacocks , picked out some fall mums ! Today we planted our flowers in our porch pot .

Yesterday was not only our last field trip of the summer break , but it was the last day with these 4 bigs who take on kindergarten next week. I have had the privilege and honour of caring for 3 of these littles for over 3 years and what a blessing it truly has been. I sure am going to miss this crew however you are always part of our family! Can’t wait to hear about your first day of kindergarten. Here is our field tried to heartland Forrest Friday and some pictures of our graduation celebration the week before . Miss Dee is so proud of each and every one of you !

Our friends have been really having lots of conversations of where things come from durring play . Last week they asked what we make out of fruits and one of the many things to come out of the topic of was juice . To follow the interest and subject this week we walked up to the grocery store , picked out some lemons and oranges to make our own lemonade and fresh squeezed orange juice ! We had so much fun making our own juice throughout the week and here are some photos of our friend’s experiences.
