Is your business actually "match-ready" for next month, Vancouver? ⚽📈

With the global spotlight hitting BC Place in just a few weeks, many generic consultants are promising a flawless "gold rush" for local business opportunities in BC.

Recent metrics from Destination Vancouver show a distinct trend: traditional downtown hotel bookings for June are down 20% as enterprise events and logistics shift outward to Burnaby, Richmond, and Surrey.

This isn't just a downtown tourism spike. It is a massive wave of demand compression that will stress supply chains, technology stacks, and workforce capacity across the entire Lower Mainland.

To capitalize on Vancouver's economic growth, you cannot rely on outdated, static tracking. You need to map out your capacity from the inside out and eliminate processing constraints before peak volume hits.

In our latest deep-dive guide, we break down the operational blueprint to handle this surge, including:
✅ Throughput Optimization: How to cut client delivery time in half if volume triples.
✅ Workforce Resilience: Eliminating single-point-of-failure scheduling risks.
✅ Supply Chain Buffering: Shifting logistics away from risky just-in-time models.

Stop guessing. Run your infrastructure through our quick diagnostic tool to find out exactly where your business stands.

When your B2B pipeline slows down, the default corporate response is almost always the same: crank up the volume.

More automated email blasts. Higher call quotas. Massive, unvetted lead lists.

The result? Market fatigue, plummeting conversion rates, and a sales team burning through their best cycles babysitting low-margin, high-maintenance clients.

Chasing raw volume is a strategy born out of structural anxiety, not logic. When you operate out of fear, you lower your gatekeeping standards and end up hunting "Brown" grade resource drains that wipe out your profit margins and drag down your team.

True outbound velocity requires a shift from random to rational.

By replacing a scattershot approach with a rigorous, data-driven vetting framework, you can isolate your elite "Target 100"—companies whose operational scale, capital architecture, and subsurface health perfectly align with your specialized solution.

Stop guessing who is behind closed executive doors. It's time to elevate your client acquisition from a numbers game to an objective, corporate-validated engine.

Why "Hard Work" is a Liability for Vancouver Insurance Principals in 2026.

In a stabilizing market, the margin for management error has disappeared. If you are still spending 40% of your week mediating high-stakes claims or manually auditing licensed agent workflows, you aren’t scaling—you’re just treading water.

Greater Vancouver’s insurance sector is uniquely pressured by high operating costs and a relentless war for talent. To move from "technical expert" to "Strategic CEO," you must transition your brokerage from a Brown (fear-driven) grade to a Red (purpose-driven) grade.

I’ve just released a deep dive into Precision Scaling, specifically for insurance professionals in the Lower Mainland.

In this piece, I break down:
✅ Why generic coaching fails brokerage principals.
✅ The 3 logic-based pillars for agency growth.
✅ Using evidence-based KPIs to replace "gut feel" management.

Stop trading hours for claims. Read the full strategy here: https://coachingsuccess.ca/business-coaching-insurance-professionals-vancouver

I used to think the 4-day work week was unrealistic.

Too idealistic. Too soft. Too disconnected from how real businesses actually run.

I was wrong.

The more I looked at how most teams operate, the more obvious it became: the problem usually isn’t a lack of time — it’s too much wasted time. Too many meetings, too much busywork, too many outdated habits dressed up as productivity.

In this blog, I break down why I changed my mind about the 4-day work week, what actually makes it effective, and why the companies that embrace it may have a real competitive advantage.

If you’ve ever wondered whether a 4-day work week is a smart business move or just a nice idea, this is for you.

Most business owners aren’t being rejected nearly as often as they think.

They’re rejecting themselves first.

They talk themselves out of the email, the follow-up, the ask, the price, the opportunity.

Not because they’re lazy.
Not because they’re not capable.
Because fear gets there first.

I wrote a new blog about this pattern and why it keeps so many good business owners stuck smaller than they need to be.

If you’ve ever thought:
“They probably won’t want this.”
“They already have someone.”
“I should wait until I’m more ready.”

…this is for you.

The truth is, a lot of the opportunities we want in business never get a chance to say yes because we’ve already decided no on their behalf.

Most business owners are not stuck because they need one more tactic.

They are stuck because they have not fully committed to the few things that already matter.

That is the idea behind my latest blog:
Small Business Growth Strategy: Why Better Focus Beats More Tactics

If you have been wondering whether your business needs a new funnel, a new hire, a new ad campaign, or a whole new strategy, this article will help you step back and ask a better question:

Have I fully committed to what already matters most?

Inside, I break down why there is no silver bullet in business — and what actually creates momentum instead: focus, consistency, refinement, and discipline.

Read the blog here:

Most businesses do not need another tactic. They need better focus, stronger ex*****on, and clearer priorities to grow with confidence.

Are your reactions really a choice — or a pattern you’ve learned over time?

The way we respond to stress, conflict, setbacks, and uncertainty is often shaped by past experiences, our environment, and the stories we’ve repeated for years.

The good news?
Those patterns are not permanent.

In my latest blog, I explore how mindset change begins with awareness, why growth can feel uncomfortable, and how coaching can help you break old patterns and create lasting change.

If you’ve ever felt stuck in the same habits, reactions, or beliefs, this is for you.

Here’s a slightly more punchy version if you want stronger engagement:

You are not stuck — you are patterned. And patterns can change.

Many of the ways we react today were shaped by our past experiences, upbringing, and current environment. But awareness gives us the power to pause, challenge the pattern, and choose a new response.

That’s what this new blog is about:
how to change your mindset, move beyond your comfort zone, and create real change with the right support.

Running a business or leading a team can look successful from the outside while feeling heavy behind the scenes.

If you’re carrying too much, making too many decisions yourself, or feeling like growth has become harder than it should be, the issue may not be effort. It may be that you’ve outgrown your current way of operating.

I wrote this new article for B2B entrepreneurs and executives in BC who want more clarity, stronger leadership, better accountability, and sustainable growth.

It covers:

• what a success coach actually does
• who benefits most from coaching
• signs it may be time for support
• the difference between a success coach, business coach, and executive coach
• how to choose the right coach in BC

If you’ve been wondering whether coaching could help you move forward with more focus and less friction, this is a good place to start.

Your calendar is telling on you.

If your week is packed with meetings, inbox triage, and “quick questions,” you’re not managing time—you’re letting your business manage you.

I just published a new blog: “Design Your Ideal Week: A Time-Blocked Blueprint for High-Performing CEOs.”
It breaks down a simple framework to rebuild your week around what actually moves the company:

✅ Strategy (the work only you can do)
✅ Revenue (oxygen, not optional)
✅ People (so you stop being the routing center)
✅ Renewal (because burnout is expensive)

You’ll also get the guardrails that keep your calendar from being eaten alive (meeting windows, delegation rules, and the “no-ping after 6pm” boundary).

Read it here: https://coachingsuccess.ca/ideal-week-ceo-calendar

And if you want to apply it to your real calendar, book a quick 15-minute call and we’ll redesign your week together:

You’re putting in the work… but the results aren’t showing up.

That’s the moment most solopreneurs get stuck between two extremes:

“Just keep grinding.”

“Maybe I should start over.”

Here’s the truth: the answer usually isn’t quitting or pushing harder. It’s knowing when to persist—and when to change one lever (message, offer, audience, or channel) so you stop burning time on a strategy the market isn’t responding to.

I just published a practical guide that includes:
✅ The difference between persistence and stubbornness
✅ The “signals vs silence” test (so you stop guessing)
✅ A simple scorecard to decide: persist, micro-pivot, or bigger pivot
✅ A 14-day micro-pivot sprint you can run without chaos

If you’re in that messy middle right now, this will help you make a clear next move.
