A West Kelowna based business “Axiom Bookkeeping Inc.” providing bookkeeping services to a variety of companies across the Okanagan is looking for PT/FT bookkeeper. Ideally suited for someone who is multi-talented, very organized, and a motived self-starter. Offering a flexible schedule and work environment with a competitive starting wage with room for growth!

THE IDEAL PERSON: 2 years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience.
• Certificate/diploma in Accounting or Bookkeeping is an asset.
• Experience with QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop and Xero are preferred.
• Able to work independently in a timely and efficient manner.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Aptitude for improving systems and processes.
• Strong problem-solving skills: loves to find the answers and can think on your feet!
• Enjoys learning new skills and wants to lend a hand where needed.
DUTIES INCLUDE: Bookkeeping tasks include Accounts Receivable/Payable data entry, reconciling bank statements and credit cards, preparing and filing government tax remittances, preparing and filing T4’s and ROE’S. Administrative tasks include electronic filling of documents, responding to email inquiries, assisting clients with their finances.
Schedule:
• Monday to Friday (20 – 40 hours per week)
• Hybrid Work Environment (Work from home may require to be office some days)
Experience:
• QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop (preferred)
• 2 years Full Cycle Bookkeeping
• Licence/Certification
• Canadian work permit of citizenship (required)
