Improved highways and intersections aren’t just about safety, they’re about business confidence and community prosperity. 🚦 Stronger connections mean:

🔹Easier access for local businesses and suppliers
🔹Safer travel for visitors and tourism growth
🔹Better mobility for our workforce
🔹A more attractive environment for future investment

With every upgrade, becomes more connected, competitive, and welcoming for growth.

If you’re travelling in the Weyburn area, a new roundabout is open on Highway 39.

Reminder when merging onto the roundabout

• Choose the correct lane in advance based on your exit.
• Give trucks plenty of room.

Phew, it's been busy with our team stepping away from the office to attend two incredible conferences: the SpoHoX Conference in Regina and the Saskatchewan Economic Development Alliance Conference in Saskatoon.

Both conferences gave us the chance to:
🔹 Network with leaders across Saskatchewan and beyond, building relationships that strengthen Weyburn’s role in regional development.
🟢 Learn innovative strategies in sport hosting, tourism, and economic growth that can be applied right here at home.
🔹 Gained inspiration from changemakers who are shaping the future of communities and industries across the province.

Together, these experiences reinforce our commitment to collaboration, innovation, and growth for Weyburn. We’re excited to put these insights into action and continue building a vibrant, resilient future for our community. 💡

💥Every $100 spent locally creates an additional $37 in economic activity right here in our community. That means more jobs, stronger businesses, and a more resilient local economy.

Let’s keep investing in the businesses that invest in us.

As Harvest is wrapping up in our region, no better week to in Saskatchewan 🌾We recognize the deep roots and vital role agriculture plays in our community. From hardworking producers to innovative agri-businesses, the ag sector drives our local economy, sustains families, and connects us to the land.

Did you know❓ The Weyburn Chamber of Commerce celebrates the ag industry by celebrating with the community every year at Ag Appreciation Night. An evening of celebration for the Ag industry and the deserving recipient for the Golden Sheaf Award (Nominations are still open until October 17th!)

By recognizing and celebrating our producers, agri-businesses, and industry leaders, we’re reinforcing the value of this sector and strengthening the relationships that sustain it.

It’s a time to reflect, learn, and honour the children who never returned home, the survivors of residential schools, and the ongoing journey toward healing and justice.

At Weyburn Regional Economic Development, we recognize that reconciliation is not just a moment, it’s a commitment to building stronger, more inclusive communities for generations to come.

Join us today from 1–3 PM at the for a Walk for Reconciliation, hosted by the Weyburn Art Gallery/Weyburn Arts Council
