On a Flight? Keep It Insight.
When charging on a plane, keep portable charging devices on the tray table. Do not charge devices in overhead compartments and never charge e-cigarettes or vapes on a plane. If a battery overheats or fails, it is important for the flight crew to be able to respond quickly.

For Tools and Rides, Charge Outside.
Charge large items like e-bikes, scooters, and power tools outside when possible. Do not block exits when charging. These batteries store more energy, and fires can grow quickly if they fail.

Thoughts and prayers with Mark’s family and Cracked Armour during these days. Thankful for the difference Mark championed for mental health for first responders.

It is with broken hearts, that we regretfully inform you all that our founder and best friend, Mark Long, passed away yesterday from a sudden medical condition. We know he has touched more lives than anyone will ever know, and will be missed by many. Please continue to support each other, lean on your peers. That’s how Mark thought we all needed to heal. ❤️

911 service has been restored and is operating normally.

Nova Scotians can now resume using 911 as their primary emergency contact number for immediate police, fire or medical assistance.

The intermittent outages earlier today affected some wireless and VoIP users and were linked to telecommunications network issues. Emergency officials worked closely with telecommunications providers and Public Safety Answering Points throughout the disruption to monitor the situation and ensure alternative contact methods were available.

Thank you to emergency communications personnel, EHS, police, fire and emergency management partners, telecommunications providers — and Nova Scotians — for your patience and cooperation.

If you are experiencing ongoing issues connecting to 911, contact your telecommunications service provider.

Significant 911 service disruptions are extremely rare. . If this occurs, in case of emergency, Nova Scotians are asked to contact local emergency service provider:
- Emergency Health Services: 1-888-346-9999

In an emergency, always call 911 when service is available.
