Granger Forestry is ramping up for our winter season. We are currently seeking experienced operators for the following positions:
-Feller Buncher
-Skidder
-Processor
-Dozer/excavator
Based out of Whitecourt Alberta, we specialize in oil and gas clearing and also do some production logging. We try keep our crews busy year-round when we can, with the exception of normal spring breakup.
We're looking for operators who take pride in their work, care for their equipment, work safely, show up with a positive attitude and want to build a long-term career with a company that values its people.

-Valid Class 5 Driver's License
-Current 3-Year Driver's Abstract must be provided
The following certifications are considered strong assets:
-H2S Alive
-First Aid
-Ground Disturbance Level 2
Additional Requirements
-Willingness to travel throughout Alberta as projects require
-Ability to work various project schedules as required
-Willingness to stay in camp or hotel accommodations when required
-Participation in our safety program, including pre-employment drug and alcohol testing and client-specific access requirements

We’re seeking an experienced Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic to maintain our fleet of forestry equipment, heavy trucks and trailers

Safety comes first at Granger Forestry. The ideal candidate proactively identifies hazards, follows safe work practices and ensures repairs are completed properly before equipment returns to service. Strong organization and accurate records are essential for tracking inspections, maintenance, repairs and equipment history. Oilfield tickets and experience are an asset.

We welcome employees and subcontractors with their own well equipped service trucks.

We’re looking for someone with:

✅ Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic certification
✅ Experience with forestry equipment, including bunchers, processors, skidders and loaders
✅ Experience diagnosing and repairing heavy trucks and trailers
✅ Strong troubleshooting skills with hydraulic, electrical, engine and drivetrain systems
✅ Oilfield tickets and related experience are an asset
✅ A safety-first mindset and commitment to safe work procedures
✅ Strong organization and accurate, timely maintenance records
✅ The ability to work independently, communicate clearly and take pride in quality repairs
✅ A dependable attitude and commitment to safety

Experienced Logging Foreman Wanted!
Granger Forestry is expanding and looking for an experienced Logging Foreman to join our team
Based out of Whitecourt Alberta, we specialize in oil and gas clearing and transportstion services as well as stump to dump logging operations. This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for the day-to-day supervision of crews and field operations, reporting directly to our Field Operations Manager.
Vast experience in both oil and gas clearing and production logging is required.

This is not an entry-level supervisory position. We're looking for an experienced logging professional who can lead a crew, take ownership of day-to-day operations and keep jobs moving safely and efficiently.
