A camera list is easy to write from a desk. It's also how a site ends up with twelve cameras and one usable angle.

ACS specifies after the walk, not before it. We look at where a vehicle actually enters, where the light falls at night, what the fence does to a sightline, and which approach someone would take if they meant to. The hardware gets chosen to answer that, not to fill a page.

Every venue has a spot where the crowd will bunch up. You find it by walking the ground, not by looking at a map.

Before an ACS team works an event, we walk it — the entry points, the sightlines, where a line will form and where it will stall. The post assignments come out of that walk, and so do the instructions each guard carries.

Our guards are PSISA-licensed and on our payroll, with supervisors on shift. By the time the gates open, everyone already knows their piece of the ground.

Thanksgiving is one of the few days a job site, a yard, or a warehouse sits completely still.

Someone still has to be watching it. A number of our guards are on post today, and our operators are on the feeds, so the properties in their care stay as quiet as the holiday itself.

The guard is on the property before the first truck turns in, which is the only way the first hour runs clean.

Most of what a site needs protecting from happens between midnight and dawn.

The ACS Mobile Defense Tower runs on solar with no hookups and no trenching, holds its cameras above the site, and connects them to an ACS operator who can speak to anyone who shouldn't be there.

It doesn't get tired at four in the morning.

Plenty of cameras look sharp in a product photo and give you nothing usable at three in the morning.

ACS specifies for the hours the site is actually empty — low-light performance, the angle that puts a face in frame instead of a silhouette, and lighting that works with the lens instead of against it.

The work that decides how an event goes happens while the field is still empty.

A construction site is at its most exposed in the hours after the last trade drives off.

Trained ACS operators watch your camera feeds overnight. When AI flags movement across the pad, an operator pulls up the view, speaks to the person over the site's speakers, and escalates to police when it's warranted.

Materials that were there at six o'clock are still there at six in the morning.
