I strive to foster knowledge, empowerment, and life-long skill-building that will turn any chaotic or disorganized household into a structured, serene home. I grew up in a cluttered household and learned at a young age that material things brought me joy. In my early twenties, I moved across Canada with only one suitcase of my most prized possessions. I started a Housekeeping position in the Rockies, I realized a completely different truth: Less is simply more. With all of my items having a place and being on display, similar to the hotel rooms that I would tidy and clean, I experienced a sense of calm and a renewed satisfaction for my belongings and my space. This was a defining moment for me, and from that point forward, I decided to dedicate my life to creating spaces of structure and serenity in my life and the lives of others. Since then, I have been organizing and reorganizing every space in my home and my life, and incorporating my passion for structure and serenity into my professional life - managing/organizing and maintaining warehouses and storage spaces. In September 2020, I decided to take my passion for organizing to a new level and officially opened my business, The Organizer. I love to see clutter because I see it as an opportunity to help my client unload and let go of so much physical and emotional baggage. I take on the burden of over-thinking and strategizing for my clients to achieve their vision for their space. I am my clients’ biggest cheerleader and stand behind them all the way while they address past scripts and personal habits, uncover who they truly want to be, and follow the processes to achieve the peace of mind they seek. What separates me from other organizers is the process and the result, which is a sustainable long-term solution to their clutter problems, not just a temporary fix. I am focused, not only on the function and look of a space, but also on the mindset and habits of the people using that space. I work with my clients to ensure that they achieve THEIR end goal – which is usually a deeper, internal solution, one that requires more than just a colour-coordinated closet. With my guidance, my clients develop unique systems that work for their households and instill habits to help them achieve long-term success. Of course, I can tidy and organize any space, but my goal is to help those I serve to develop the mindset, skills, and habits they need to keep that space organized and functional for years to come. My goal is to make a positive difference in people’s lives and help them achieve the peace of mind that can come from taking control of what we truly can: our self, our mindset, and our household. My passion is to show others just how easy this can be accomplished if they believe in themselves, trust the process, and open their homes and mind to go from turmoil to tranquility one room at a time.
