This Small Business Week, we’re celebrating Jenni Jinkerson, owner of The Dreaming Tree. in Harrow and the dedication local entrepreneurs bring to their businesses.

The Dreaming Tree offers wellness and spiritual services, including Reiki, sound sessions and Rahanni Celestial Healing, for those exploring personal reflection and spiritual interests. Jenni’s practice also offers Spiritual Response Therapy and house and space clearing.

Jenni participated in our Digital Accelerator Program to learn new strategies and approaches to continue developing the business. The program offers personalized guidance and learning opportunities to help entrepreneurs explore digital tools and strengthen their online presence.

This Small Business Week, we’re celebrating Sandwich Towne Hair Salon and the small business owners who continue to learn and invest in their businesses.

Located in Windsor’s Sandwich Town neighbourhood, the salon offers haircuts, colour, highlights and perms, bringing personal care and attention to everyday appointments and fresh looks.

The salon’s owner, Cindy Campbell, participated in our Digital Accelerator Program, which offers personalized guidance and learning opportunities to help local businesses strengthen their digital presence and explore tools for their day-to-day operations.

This Small Business Week, we’re celebrating the creativity and craftsmanship of Dutch Boys Chocolate, one of our 2025 Starter Company Plus grant recipients.

Located in the Town of Kingsville, Dutch Boys Chocolate creates handcrafted chocolates, truffles and distinctive 3D chocolate designs using custom moulds and traditional techniques. From a thoughtful gift to a treat for yourself, each creation brings together flavour and attention to detail.

Our team had a fantastic afternoon joining WEtech Alliance's Women in Mobility peer group for a walk across the Gordie Howe International Bridge, exploring the bridge's new multi-use path.

A special thank you to Katie Bosco of the Windsor-Detroit Bridge Authority for leading the walk and sharing interesting facts and insights about the bridge, including that more than 30,000 people have explored the multi-use path since its opening on Aug. 5!
