Very sad to hear about the accident today that claimed the life of Capt. Jennifer Casey and seriously inured Capt. Richard MacDougall.

The Canadian Forces Snowbirds made a stop at YQG at the Canadian Historical Aircraft Association’s West ramp last September for fuel and customs. During this time the public was welcome to view their arrival and departure and the CH2A offered a free open house. The Crews & Brews vs. Cancer Rowing Event took place at the WFCU centre. 10 gyms, 13 breweries and 1 cause...to raise funds to support cancer awareness, research and treatment for men living in Windsor/Essex. The amazing and emotional event hosted by the Windsor Cancer Centre Foundation saw 450 rowers take part in their biggest event yet!

One of the events I photographed today is very close to my heart, having lost a sister and aunt to this devastating disease.

For the 21st year the Windsor - Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure helped to raise funds for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation with a 5k or 1k walk. Riverfront Festival Plaza was filled with survivors and supporters for the largest single-day, volunteer-led event in Canada in support of the breast cancer cause. 1 in 8 Canadian women are expected to be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime and this event matters more than ever. The Canadian Historical Aircraft Association (CH2A) is hosting the AIR POWER HISTORY TOUR from August 22nd to the 26th. FIFI, the Commemorative Air Force’s (CAF) iconic Boeing B-29 Superfortress, flew into Windsor International Airport for the five-day event.
