The team at Maritime Pressure Works participated in Friday’s Mobile Elevated Work Platform (MEWP) Training held at CAT Battlefield Equipment Rentals.

⚠️ Important Reminder for Employers: While online MEWP training courses are widely available, online training alone does NOT meet regulatory requirements. Operators must receive both theoretical instruction and a practical evaluation on the equipment they will be using. Employers are responsible for ensuring workers are trained, competent, and able to safely operate the equipment in their workplace.

It was a great day on the Island attending the WCB of PEI Workplace Health & Safety Conference and spending time with our PEI Consultants, Brad Fremlin & Glen Gardiner.

It’s always good to connect with other safety professionals and employers who genuinely value and prioritize workplace safety. Events like this are a great reminder that strong safety cultures are built through collaboration, shared knowledge, and a commitment to making sure everyone goes home safe at the end of the day!

Last night we celebrated the holidays with our Nova Scotia crew. If you work in construction in this province, you’ll probably recognize a face or two in this group. Some of them have been around for many years (not mentioning any names 😆) and have helped shape workplace safety across Nova Scotia.
