Manufacturing Month is underway!

Yesterday, we joined students and parents at Catholic Central High School for Parent & Student Night, followed by today’s visit to connect with students about moldmaking and career opportunities at Cavalier Tool.

Thanks to Canadian Association of Moldmakers for organizing these opportunities and helping connect students with the manufacturing industry!

We’ll be visiting more high schools across Windsor-Essex throughout the month to introduce students to the people, skills, and technology behind manufacturing.

Students, we might be coming to your school next! 👀 Come prepared with questions. We’d love to chat with you about what a future in manufacturing could look like.

October is Manufacturing Month!

Throughout the month, we’re celebrating the people, skills, and opportunities that keep manufacturing moving forward.

We’re kicking things off tomorrow with Canadian Association of Moldmakers and Parent & Student Night at Catholic Central High School, followed by visits to schools across Windsor-Essex to connect with students and introduce them to the opportunities within our industry.

Earlier this month, we welcomed over 300 local high school students to Cavalier Tool for Manufacturing Day, giving them a firsthand look at modern manufacturing and the people, processes, and equipment behind it.

We’re proud to help inspire the next generation and showcase the future of manufacturing right here in Windsor-Essex!

Cavalier Tool was pleased to bring together the Canadian Association of Moldmakers board members and industry representatives for a roundtable discussion on the future of manufacturing and moldmaking in Canada.

We were also joined by Pierre Poilievre and Windsor-Essex MPs Kathy Borrelli for Windsor-Tecumseh-Lakeshore, Harb Gill MP, and Dave Epp for an open exchange on the opportunities and challenges facing our industry.

The conversation touched on strengthening Canadian moldmaking, supporting skilled trades, workforce needs and keeping our industry competitive.

Bringing different perspectives from across the sector to the same table made for a valuable conversation and reinforced the importance of collaboration in building a strong future for Canadian manufacturing.

It was a pleasure to welcome Pierre Poilievre to Cavalier Tool & Manufacturing Ltd. for a visit focused on Canadian manufacturing and the mold-making industry.

A big part of what makes Cavalier what it is today is our people. During the tour, we had the opportunity to showcase the skilled professionals behind the work — the machinists, designers, engineers, apprentices, and support teams whose knowledge, experience, and dedication bring complex projects to life.

The visit also highlighted the opportunities available in manufacturing and the importance of building careers where skilled workers can continue to learn, grow, and make an impact.

⛳️ A great day on the green!

We had an incredible time at the Cavalier Tool Annual Golf Tournament at Wildwood Golf Course! It was a great day of friendly competition and spending time with our team.

We’d like to recognize our Social Club for all the time and effort that went into making the tournament happen, as well as our vendors and partners who contributed prizes and supported the event. We truly appreciate your continued partnership.

Most importantly, it was a great opportunity to come together, strengthen relationships, and support our community. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the day one to remember! 🏌️‍♀️🏌️‍♂️

We're proud to share a recent appearance by Chris Vander Park, International Business Development Manager at Cavalier Tool & Manufacturing, on Canadian Innovators with host Jocelyn Bamford of The News Forum.

Beginning his career as an apprentice, broom in hand, he learned the mold-making trade from the ground up, developing the skills and experience that ultimately led to his current role supporting customers around the world.

🍻 The Cavalier Tool Social Club was at it again!

This time, we ventured out to one of Wallaceburg's hidden gems — Glasstown Brewing Company.

The afternoon started with drinks on the river at their beautiful outdoor patio before we were treated to an unforgettable experience in their brand-new second-floor speakeasy.

Between the incredible food, great drinks, live entertainment, flight tastings, and behind-the-scenes brewery tours, it was a day to remember. A huge thank you to the entire Glasstown Brewery team for going above and beyond to make our visit so special. Your hospitality and passion shone through in every detail.

And of course, a special shout-out to Ryan Bradley, whose soulful vocals put the perfect exclamation point on an already fantastic day.

Great people, great atmosphere, and great memories. Thanks to everyone who joined us—we're already looking forward to the next Social Club adventure!
