I break up your regularly scheduled grad photo onslaught for these cuties🥲 Kenai James is our newest favourite human! He was born on December 23rd, two and a half weeks early, and has completely taken over my camera roll.
Sharissa & I were reflecting on his birth yesterday. There aren’t many words to describe something so incredible.. The whole experience felt surreal & oddly peaceful. It probably helped that Sharissa was a total rockstar. Need more appreciation for someone’s beauty & strength? Watch them bring a human into this world. It felt like hallowed ground. Afterwards, her mom was poking at fun at me because I was smiling like a LOON the whole time she was pushing. Luckily, she was too distracted to notice because I’m guessing she would have decked me for looking that happy while she was in so much pain. I couldn’t help it, though. She was (& is) amazing. And the timing was perfect. It felt like we were watching a miracle happen. & in a very real way, we were.
