Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Electrician/Tower Climber with expertise in Low Voltage Cabling to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a combination of electrical knowledge, tower climbing experience, and proficiency in low-voltage cabling systems. Key Responsibilities:
Tower Climbing & Electrical Installation: Install and maintain electrical systems and equipment at heights, including power systems, wiring, and antennas.
Low Voltage Cabling: Run and terminate low-voltage cabling for telecommunications, security systems, fire alarms, and other related technologies.
Electrical Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair electrical systems, ensuring they meet all safety standards and are operational.
Maintenance & Inspections: Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment, ensuring compliance with safety codes and regulations.
Collaboration: Work closely with other team members and contractors to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and inspections for reporting purposes.
Requirements:
Certification: Valid Electrical License (or equivalent certifications).
Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical installation, tower climbing, or related fields.
Physical Fitness: Ability to work at heights (tower climbing) and in various weather conditions.
Skills: Proficiency in low-voltage wiring, electrical troubleshooting, and familiarity with safety protocols when working at heights.
Tools: Must have basic hand tools and climbing gear; additional specialized equipment provided.
Safety Conscious: Must be familiar with and adhere to OSHA and other safety guidelines while working in both electrical and tower environments.
Communication: Strong communication skills to work effectively with other team members, customers, and contractors.
Preferred Qualifications:
Tower Climbing Certification or training (e.g., TCT, First Aid, CPR).
Experience in Network Cabling or structured wiring systems.
Additional Licenses: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
