Day 2 was a museum itinerary. We tried to do as much as we could but doesn't have the energy to check off everything in our list. Heat has been "sucking" up our energy.

We only managed to visit Versaille Palace, Louvre Museum, Arc D Triomphe and Notre Dame.

To cap our day, we had dinner somewhere at Champs Elysees.

It just so happened that hubby was at work while our flight was en route to YHZ from YWG. Requested kindly the Westjet flight captain to wish me an enjoyable holidays with friends.

Eurail Global Pass

Travelling to 4 countries (including Vatican) has been quite convenient using a Eurail Global Pass. Just download the rail app then plan your travel. Activate your pass once you are close to your travel date. It’s so convenient to make changes in case you missed your train schedule or just want to wrap up early from your trip. Some trips, you have to pay extra for the seat reservation (a requirement to board train).

While I agree that booking individual trips ahead of time will cost lesser probably but not as convenient when there are travel interruptions.

A bit chilly for a walk but thankful that I decided to go outside. Enjoyed witnessing a pelican having dinner, a beaver swimming by, a loon in flight. Such a delight to witness nature.
