MARCH 13, 2024 - (CLASSROOM)

This course combines the Safety for Committees & Representatives Basic & Advanced. Participants who complete the Health & Safety Committee Training course will be recognized as completing both.

Anyone can benefit from this course, but the main audience is your company’s safety committee or representative. We suggest sending your whole committee, but at a minimum, your co-chairs.

This course will also discuss the entire hazard assessment process from hazard identification to Safe Work Procedures. It will assist you in developing Risk Assessments through a Critical Job Inventory, Job Hazard Analysis, and Safe Work Procedures.

First aid supplies are to be inspected monthly to ensure there is an adequate supply and to replace any expired items. When inspecting first aid supplies, it is important to make note of the following items;

✔Adequate amount of first aid supplies as per Manitoba regulations,

✔Identify that there is appropriate visible signage,

✔Accessible, and the pathway to the kit is clear,

✔Contact list for first aid responders is posted,

✔ First aid log is in or posted by the kit to track any incidents.
