Laura Ingalls purple dress! I was creating this dress at the same time as Good Eagles Birthday Dress. There was alot of pattern matching plaid on the bias! Mitchell's combination of purple with Laura's signature colours of pink & brown came together wonderfully!
She also had a matching Petticoat that was pink with the brown plaid cut on the bias as a ruffle. Shout out to my wonderful stitcher who prepped all my bias cut ruffles & rolled hemmed them.
The plaid was Rayon which if you know, you know it's tricky to work with let alone pattern match. Remember this is 1 of 3 & each was made exactly the same.
