If Easter were a tennis racquet, this would be it. 🎾 🐣. A Stringing client picked up the new Head Boom MP and paired it with Toroline Snapper 1.25. - what an awesome looking combo., hope you love it!
Here at Yip Stringing, we’re all about the details when returning a freshly strung racket. No crossed strings on the outer grommets, tails cut to the same length, frames cleaned after stencilling, and every racket mounted the exact same way so knots are consistently pulled in the same direction. It might seem trivial to some, but it’s what we focus on. - consistency, precision, and a clean uniform result every single time.

Vacation has come to an end and I will be back in town tomorrow, Feb 7th and doing a pick up at noon. I will be completely caught up and returning ALL rackets on Sunday. Thank you all for your patience while Kathy and I were on holidays

Holiday season is done and back to business. I will be onsite stringing at Taylor Tennis tomorrow, Jan 24th from 930-12pm. Come by if you have questions, want to learn more about stringing, hear stories or ask about my experience at the ATP challenger or if you just want a professional stringing job with Winnipeg’s quickest turn around, come on down. This year marks 29 years stringing experience and although I have completed stringing service for many in Winnipeg, I have not personally met all of you, so feel free to come to Taylor tomorrow morning and introduce yourself.

Did you know.....Yip's Stringing has many gift ideas to give your loved ones this holiday season? Ideas like surprising your loved one with a fresh stringing, over-grips, replacement grips, vibration dampeners, head tape, lead weight, you can also buy packs or reels of string so all they have to pay for is labor in the future. Good day everybody, hope you are doing well and playing lots!

Slight interruption with stringing service next week. Taylor Tennis will be unavailable for drop off and oick up from Saturday August 16 to the following Sunday August 24th due to the pickleball tournament event being hosted there.

Here’s the good news, all stringing clients can drop their racquets off at Tuxedo Tennis during this time. The Tuxedo Tennis Club tournament is happening next week so the clubhouse should be staffed in the evenings after 5pm. Taking this into consideration, all payments for stringing services will have to be e-transferred to me directly. The club will not accept any form of payment for stringing. Please, if you have any questions, contact me anytime. 204-793-0893.

The 2025 ATP National Bank Challenger is happening in Winnipeg. Yip’s Stringing is proud to be the official stringing service for this tournament again. I have a terrific team that includes Kathy Yip and Monika Popovic this year to look after the players racket stringing needs! The calm before the storm, qualifying rounds start Sunday, main draw starts Monday. Come out and watch the best tennis Winnipeg has to offer!
