My Story, how I got started?

Hi my name is Amrit, I have worked in various and almost every capacity of transport industry. Starting as a Truck & Transport Mechanic 🛠 for top suppliers like Volvo, Western Star, dealerships & fleets like Bison Transport, Trimac Transportation. Working through my career as a Mechanic I acquired Red Seal Truck & Transport Licence. You can see my tool box right here 👇🏻 It now sits in my garage for my personal Automotive projects 😁

After being a certified Technician, I realized. I needed more from life so I proceeded to work in Trucking Logistics throughout Western Canada. Worked for some of the largest Grain Companies of Canada, as a Logistics Planner and Coordinator to secure freight and move grain all across North America eventually through Rail and Trucks. Here is a photo of my desk. You can see a map sticked on the wall, I used for highway weights. 🗺

When procuring 🚚 freight companies. I would come across one same problem every single day. Which was - not enough DRIVERS? I would call freight companies to hire them for more work and they would refuse. Trucking companies’s owners would 😥 share their problems where they expressed everyday to me -

Canada and US is facing a huge deficit of drivers. We have a big shortage of truck drivers. With aging driver force and very less people entering the industry. The problem for driver shortage is climbing up day by day. I now work as a Transport consultant who helps Transport companies grow & find drivers through 📡 Strategic Outreach and Powerful Marketing. 🔥
