If you listen to anything I say to you, it’s this.

I thought that stress and hustle = productivity. Sometimes, yeah, it gets the job done. But pushing an idea uphill with no rest? It’s exhausting. I don’t actually think it’s how we are meant to live.

When it looks like everyone around you is on a straight trajectory and you’re falling behind, it’s tempting to “look busy.” Quick!! Post a cute reel about how successful you are!!

But something still doesn’t feel right or good or healthy. It still feels like you’re getting nowhere even though you can’t remember the last time you sat down for a real meal.

Gonna ask the obvious here, but have you tried rest? Have you tried putting it all down? Does the world still spin? Did anyone die (emts and surgeons maybe don’t answer)?

Remember that you’re replaceable. They will find someone else to do what you do. If you walk away right now, another “one of a kind” will come along and take your place.

But the only one who can show up and take care of you … is you.

Love y’all.

Every summer, I spend one month with my side of the family in New York. Every year I struggle to find the balance. Of trying to soak it all up while being a responsible adult. My body naturally goes slower here. I take more time to do normal things and maybe, I am lazier.

So if you’re waiting on me, I’m still here. I’m just on island time 🏝️

$$ Here’s what a perfect pantry costs $$

- at least 2 days in time
- minimum $1500-$3500 in product
- throwing out all the storage you already own
- weekly maintenance of at least 2 hours to keep it this way
- a dedicated overstock area (another 8 hour project)
- replacing the woven baskets after a few years cause they shed like golden retrievers.

While we aren’t against beautiful spaces, we just want you to know what it will cost you!

Here is your signed permission slip to let go of the things you’ve been holding on to.

Out of guilt, out of regret, out of disappointment. They are taking up physical and mental space in your life. What purpose do they serve?

You can now let go of the things you are saving for maybe or one day or if things change. Hang on to what you use today, what brings you joy right now.

You can eliminate anything that is broken, unusable, frustrating to work with, or irrelevant. Why make things harder than they are?

Stuff = energy.
Protect your energy by living with less.

Love y’all.
