Starting now, Greensite Recycling is open 7 AM - 6 PM, Monday - Friday, to serve all your wood and shingle recycling needs! Longer days mean more time to get your projects done—and we’re here to help keep waste out of the landfill.

Notice of Closure - Friday April 28 - Regular hours resume May 1

We want to thank the Greensite community during this difficult time. We are grateful for the outpouring of love and support. Our goal is for John’s passion and dedication to continue on in our family and team members.

We will be closed Friday, April 28 to allow our family at greensite to participate in the celebration service for John Krueger. Regular hours will resume May 1.

John W. Krueger
1953 - 2023

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Krueger. After a valiant battle with cancer, his journey ended peacefully in Winnipeg, on Monday, April 10, 2023.

After many years in the roofing business, John caught a vision for the recycling of roofing shingles which led to the founding of Greensite Recycling in 2009. Through hard work, taking risks, leading and mentoring others, and a strong faith in God, John led Greensite through its growth and development until it became what it is today.

He was a loving husband and father, a caring brother, and a dear friend to many, always looking for ways to help others and to make the world a better place. John will be greatly missed.

Funeral arrangements are pending.
