It is with a very heavy heart that I am letting you all know that about an hour ago Harold passed away peacefully with his sister, son, 2 friends and his daughter (on video chat). Where with him when he passed. Thank you for all your prayers and lit candles. I know he would be very happy that people cared enough to do that for him. I was able to pray with him last night when I visited him. He will be very misses.

Hello to my Facebook friends. I have a favor to ask of you all. My boss is a wonderful caring man who has spent many years helping people in extreme poverty by advocating for their rights. He is very terminally sick and the hospital. He is scheduled to do an end of life procedure tomorrow. I would love it if we could get as many candles lit today and tomorrow to light his way to whatever the afterlife has for them. Please post a pic of your candle in the comments. Thank you all so very much.

I have been trying to post a message from Harold Dyck onto my LIIP page but it's just not working. If you want to see the message go to Harold Dyck's page. (He is thr one who looks like he's reading a book). It is with a very heavy heart that I am posting this. Harold Dyck has been the driving force behind LIIP. However, I will now carry the torch and continue the work that he started over 20 years ago. He taught me well. I look forward to helping more people in extreme poverty. Harold has been suffering with a failing liver. He doesn't have much more time in this world. He truly an amazing person who wanted to see poverty eradicated and help with inequality in our country. He worked very hard and taught me everything I know. This office is loosing one of the best advocates Winnipeg has ever seen. We love you Harold.
