The Parks ✨ 08.28.2026

On a perfect day, Anna & Daniel gathered just 60 of their favourite people at the Assiniboine Park Pavilion to celebrate the beginning of their marriage. The gardens were in full bloom, the park was showing off, and they gave themselves the greatest gift you can give on a wedding day: time.

🤎 Time to soak it all in.
🤎 Time to wander through Assiniboine Park together.
🤎 Time to laugh, breathe, and simply enjoy being newly married.

(We spent nearly two and a half hours taking portraits, and honestly... I could’ve kept going.)

Their story has always felt a little like it was written across Canada. Anna grew up in Winnipeg, Daniel in Calgary, they met at a student retreat during grad school in Ontario, and now they’re both finishing their medical fellowships in Vancouver before beginning the next chapter of their lives as doctors.

No matter the distance separating them, one thing has remained constant: the way they care for each other. You see it in the quiet moments.

🥹 The way Daniel looks at Anna when she isn’t paying attention.
🥹 The way they naturally reach for one another.
🥹 The way they make each other laugh without even trying.

They’re both incredibly driven, endlessly kind, and have built a relationship that’s rooted in the little things; trying new restaurants, travelling whenever they can, cozy nights on the couch, and taking care of one another in all the ways that matter most.

Even their proposal reflected that same thoughtfulness. Daniel transformed their apartment with paper lanterns and candles spelling out “Will You Marry Me?” so that when Anna came home from work, he was already waiting for her on one knee. 🥹

Their families were just as wonderful as they are. Watching everyone celebrate these two made it impossible not to smile all day long.

Happy first anniversary as wife & wife, Laura & Kari!

These two couldn’t have picked a more perfect spot for themselves than Falcon Trails Resort in Manitoba’s Whiteshell. From start to finish, their day was filled with laughter, love, and the kind of joy that’s impossible to forget.

Kari made the most ICONIC entrance… arriving to the ceremony by canoe with her dad 🚣🏻‍♂️ and from there, the magic just kept coming. Their vows were heartfelt and tender, officiated by Kari’s grandfather, and the whole day was wrapped in hugs, giggles, and joy that hits you in your bones.

These two prove that sometimes the best love stories begin with a little chaos (like showing up three hours late to their first date 🙈.) From smashing piñatas full of Fireball to milestone “DQ cakes” that always read “f*ck yeah,” (TBH - same same); their love is adventurous, playful, and rooted in the truest form of friendship.

Here’s to forever filled with adventures, laughter, and “f*ck yeah” moments 🥂✨

Happy first anniversary as wife & wife, Lacey & Meagan!

Hosted on their own property, surrounded by their closest people, Lacey & Meagan’s wedding was equal parts heartfelt, joyful, and downright hilarious. I laughed with them, cried with them, and left the day feeling wildly grateful for this beautiful job I have.

From rugby teammates —> besties —> roommates —> wives… what started on the field grew into a love story that everyone else saw coming way before they did. And standing there on their wedding day, it was so clear that this is exactly where they were always meant to end up; side by side, building a life full of devotion, friendship, and love.

Six years of being each other’s favourite person…. and now officially MARRIED. 🤎

There are so many things I could say about these two, but the way Trevor looked at Sydney on their wedding day pretty much says it all.

During their private first look and vows, he completely lost it when he saw her. Our team said they’ve rarely seen such a genuine, emotional reaction from a groom. It was one of those moments that reminded us exactly why we love documenting wedding days.

The sentimental details were just as meaningful. Sydney incorporated her grandmother’s wedding veil (around 70 years old!) beneath their wedding cake. Seeing the emotion it brought to her family, especially her mom, made it one of those quiet details none of us will forget.

These two have always built their relationship around life’s simply joys; walking their dogs, weekends at the lake, Pad Thai dates, and the picnic proposal that recreated their very first date.

Sydney, her bridesmaids, (and Trevor) absolutely TORE IT UP on the d-floor. The energy never dipped, and the team captured some of the most fun reception photos because these two actually stayed out there celebrating with everyone all night long.

From emotional tears to packed dance floor, this day was the perfect reflection of who Sydney & Trevor are.

The Marks ✨ 08.15.2026

Bobbi-Jo & Sheldon were married on the front steps of the home they built together, before celebrating in the very background where they’ll spend years making memories, hosting family dinners, watching sunsets, and growing old side by side.

There is something so special about choosing a place that already holds your story. Their sweet pup, Willow, was there for every part of the day (as she should be 🐾), making the celebration feel even more like home.

If you know these two, you’ll know these two are happiest in the simple moments. Life at home. Coffee together. Popcorn on the couch (with a good book). Evenings in the yard. Time with Willow. They’ve built a life that isn’t about grand gestures; it’s about choosing each other in the little moments, over and over again.

And that’s exactly what their wedding day felt like.

A celebration of the home they’ve created, the family they’re building, and a love that feels wonderfully steady.

Hailey & Jordan 🤎

If there’s one thing that stood out about these two, it’s how deeply they care for the people they love. Whether it’s family weekends at the lake, adventures on the quad, celebrating milestones together, or absolutely spoiling their sweet boxer boi, Rex, they’ve built a life that’s rooted in showing up for one another.

Their engagement session at Birds Hill Park was full of laughter and we love when you bring your lil besties along 🐾

After meeting by chance one night in 2022, these two have built something so steady together. A dream home, countless adventures, and now a wedding to look forward to.

We can’t wait to celebrate these two next year!!

The Cordell’s ✨ 08.08.2026

Some people are only lucky enough to find each other once. These two had to find their way back to each other.

Through all the starts and stops, different chapters, and years of life happening in between, there’s something about Chloe & Morgan that makes you feel like this ending was written long before either of them knew it. They just make sense.

And their wedding day felt the exact same way.

STARLIT POINT was showing off, the day felt effortless and light from beginning to end, and working alongside Tricia Bachewich and her team is always such a treat (shout out to you, Jocelyn!). Every detail came together beautifully, but more than anything, there was just so much damn joy surrounding these two.

And then Grandpa showed up. 🥹 Don’t even get us started.

Nicole & Dwayne spent the day documenting a couple who are comfortable together, so clearly loved by their people, and so freaking happy to finally be standing here as husband and wife. There was an ease to the entire celebration that felt very them.

Sometimes the best love stories aren’t perfectly linear. Sometimes you need a few chapters apart before realizing exactly where you’re supposed to be.

Chloe & Morgan found their way back to one another and we couldn’t be happier that they did. 🤎

Jesse & Jill 🤎

For Jesse & Jill, La Barrière Park has always been one of those places. It’s where they spent countless days walking their dog, and last year, it became the back drop for their maternity session as they prepared to welcome their little one into the world.

This year, we went back for another chapter.

Under the guise of updating their family photos (on their fourth anniversary), Jesse got down on one knee and completely caught Jill by surprise. Needless to say, she was absolutely speechless. 🥹

Getting to witness moments like these is one of the greatest privileges of my job. Watching couples become parents, watching families grow, and then getting to document the next “yes” along the way…. it genuinely never gets old & I recognize the privilege I have within my job to see this much joy on a regular basis.

Jesse, thank you for trusting me with such a meaningful surprise. And Jill…. I’ve loved watching your story unfold over the last year.
