If your lawn had a fall checklist, aeration would be near the top. 🍂

Over the season, everyday foot traffic, mowing and Manitoba’s summer conditions can leave soil compacted. When that happens, it becomes harder for water, air and nutrients to reach the roots where they’re needed.

That’s where fall aeration comes in. By creating small openings in the soil, aeration helps relieve compaction and gives your lawn better access to the things it needs while encouraging stronger, deeper roots.

Throughout the season, Eco Green applies more liquid fertilizer applications to help provide your lawn with the nutrients it needs while it’s actively growing.

For customers on our 5- and 6-application programs, we also include a granular fertilizer application in late fall as part of their seasonal lawn care.

Why both? Because your lawn’s needs change throughout the season, and using different application methods allows us to care for it accordingly. 🍂
