Fixing a paver walkway isn’t just about putting the stones back in place.

For this section, the goal was to bring the pavers up to the correct height to match the existing concrete walkway, creating a smoother transition and a cleaner finished look.

Snap edge was also installed along the outside of the walkway to lock the pavers in place and help prevent shifting over time.

Small details like proper height, alignment, and edge restraint make a big difference in how a paver walkway performs long term.

A closer look at a day at the job site.

For this project, the team extended the walkway for better functionality, corrected the grading to help prevent water from pooling near the house, rebuilt the sand base, and carefully cut and aligned the new and existing Roman pavers for a clean, precise finish.

A lot of the important work happens underneath the stone — getting the base, height, slope, and drainage right before everything goes back together.
