Teaching in small steps.
This is a seemingly obvious, yet easy to overlook pillar of the Behavioural Methos of Facilitation.
As Facilitators, we often give too much information at one time.
This could be instructions for a breakout activity or describing steps in a system.
Teaching in small steps allows us to intentionally provide information like building blocks, pacing things out in consideration of the best learning experience.
