Owned and operated by the Lightfoot family who have been farming in the Annapolis Valley for eight generations, Lightfoot & Wolfville provides a truly unique farm winery experience. te nurtures not only 35 acres of vineyard, but also raises heritage breed livestock, and grows its own produce for the winery kitchen. With close proximity to the Minas Basin and the world’s highest tides, cool breezes and excellent temperature moderation help create wines of great distinction. The focus is on elegant, balanced wines that speak of their origin including award-winning Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, aromatic whites such as Riesling and sparkling wines. The opulent underground barrel cellar and marquee tent among the vines provide the perfect backdrop for weddings and special events.

The first weekend of summer is almost here! We are thrilled to be attending the Kickin’ Off Summer rosé tasting with our friends Bishop's Cellar 🩷

Join us this Friday, June 19th from 7-9 PM at Discovery Centre in Halifax. We’ll be pouring our 2022 Brut Rosé and offering a first taste of our 2025 L&W Rosé—a new vintage that has not yet been released in our Wine Shop!

To continue the upcoming summer fun, we are delighted to invite you to Chef Chris’ Tidal Bay Seafood Series, featuring weekly Seafood Suppers and monthly Lobster Dinners! 🦞

Hosted each Wednesday evening from July 1st to September 2nd (with the first Wednesday of each month reserved for our Lobster Dinners), this weekly culinary series celebrates the abundance of Nova Scotian seafood. Each menu, crafted by Executive Chef Chris Pyne & team, is rooted in seasonality and shaped by our shoreline - offering a fresh expression of what makes Nova Scotia so special. Join us for an evening celebrating fresh seafood, good company, and our newly released 2025 Tidal Bay.

Join us on Saturday, June 27th as we kick off summer with an evening of Caribbean-inspired cuisine, thoughtful wines, and vibrant music among the vines. We are thrilled to welcome Chef Dwight Smith to the vineyard alongside Chef Chris Pyne for this lively summer celebration, bringing together bold flavours and the easy rhythm of summer.

Enjoy a relaxed outdoor hangout featuring a welcome beverage, specialty tropical cocktails (available for purchase), Caribbean-inspired bites, lawn games, and vibrant music. Following the hangout, guests will be seated for a four-course dinner in the Marquee Tent, featuring classic Caribbean flavours utilizing Nova Scotian ingredients, thoughtfully prepared by Chef Dwight Smith and Chef Chris Pyne.
