Our services are expanding!!!

Over here at A&A Environmental we have been working hard on growing our offered services. The newest addition being Down the Hole Hammer drilling!!!

What is a down the hole hammer?? Well thats a great question.

Down-the-hole (DTH) drilling is a high-efficiency rock drilling technique where a pneumatic hammer, powered by compressed air, acts directly behind the drill bit at the bottom of the hole. This method ensures powerful, straight, and fast pe*******on through hard rock by breaking it with high-frequency impacts, widely used in mining, construction, and water well drilling, or in our case, environmental monitoring wells.

This new type of service will allow us to better serve our clients who have shallow bedrock on their sites where achieving ground water is impossible unless getting through the bedrock.

With our crews efforts of achieving near zero drilling dust, and the incredible power of this drilling method, our clients can rest assured on their projects being completed in a clean, safe and efficient manner.

Over here at A&A Environmental our drill team has been hard at work learning new drilling methods to offer as services to our clients.

Take a look at our two newest methods of hole advancement.

Down Hole Hammer: for when you really need to get through that bedrock

Mud/Air rotary: for your deep geotechnical and Environmental monitoring well needs in tough unpredictable soil types that augers simply can not accomplish getting through.

Our Geoprobe 7822 makes switching between drilling methods a breeze and it's unique versatility allows us to perform these methods just about anywhere.

It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we inform you all of the death of our colleague and friend Dr. George Duncan, who passed away on Friday September 27, 2024.

George was a beloved co-founder of our company. Many of us had the pleasure of growing and learned under George, which made us the consultants we are today. George loved our clients as if they were family and provided us all an excellent example of customer care!

George will be greatly missed by all. Our thoughts and prayers are with his beloved wife Eleanor and the rest of the Duncan family.
