//Hi, I’m Kirsten, the creator of The Heart of Oxford!
I was born and raised right here in beautiful Oxford County and am the proud local business owner of Kynd Beauty Spa.

I have always loved my home and in 2020 when all of our small business owners were in a place of such uncertainty I wanted to bring us together and let Oxford County know, we were here. The Heart of Oxford Giveaway was born. An Instagram style giveaway that began with 70 local businesses and a prize value of $5,000 that grew just three years later into 140 businesses and a prize value of almost $25,000.

Now it is time for a fresh new direction by bringing these incredible businesses under one roof and give you The Heart of Oxford Experience! Unlike any other vendor show in our area this is exclusively Oxford County businesses. The people from our home who are dedicated to sharing their magic and using it to build our community.

Come experience all Oxford County has to offer, see friendly familiar faces and understand what it truly means when we say Small Business, Big Heart.

Alyssa AKA The Behaviour Mama, is a parent and caregiver coach, educator and behaviour consultant offering one-to-one services, education opportunities, and online courses.

With a Masters in Psychology specializing in Applied Behaviour Analysis, and 10 years experience, Alyssa is a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA), dedicated to empowering parents and caregivers, to create meaningful and deep-rooted behaviour change tailored to their Littles.

As a parent of two Littles, she understands the magic and challenges of being a parent. If you are a soon-to-be parent or new parent she can help prepare you for any challenges that may come your way. If you are a parent who has been at it for a while she can help you find more calm, balance and harmony within your family.

With clients in Canada, US, UK and Australia, she has been helping business owners grow their companies and attract new clients for over 10 years.

Born and raised in the UK, Laura made her way over to Canada and quickly made a name for herself in the beauty industry. With a Bachelor’s degree in Design and Communication, she’s moved from managing large beauty brands to running her own consultancy as a freelance designer.

In her free time she continues exploring her passion for design, wellness, travel and now her 8-month old.
