⚡ Another great project completed by our ChargerCrew Canada team!

We're proud to share the successful installation of a new EV charging hub at Ontario Tech University's Campus Ice Centre. The site features four ChargePoint CPE280 DC Fast Chargers, providing fast, reliable charging for students, staff, and community.

Our team recently completed the installation of a high-capacity EV charging hub at Ontario Tech University at their Campus Ice Centre!

The project features four ChargePoint CPE280 DC Fast Chargers, each capable of delivering up to 80 kW of charging power. Configured in power-sharing pairs, the system can dynamically distribute up to 160 kW between two charging ports, optimizing charging performance and enhancing flexibility for EV drivers.

By investing in EV charging infrastructure, Ontario Tech University continues to demonstrate leadership in sustainability, innovation, and the development of a more environmentally responsible campus for their students, staff, and community!

We would like to thank Verhoef Electric Inc. for their electrical installation support and valued partnership in delivering another successful project.

Did you know... According to Canadian Renewable Energy Association, they project that Canada is expected to add up to 26 GW of new solar power across the country by 2035! 🇨🇦☀️

Further reports forecasts that between 2035 and 2050, total installed capacity for all these technologies will grow by an additional 50%–60%.

A quote from the article: “The momentum is building fast. We expect Canada’s installed wind, solar, and energy storage capacity to grow by a third in the next four years and double in the next decade,” says Vittoria Bellissimo, CanREA’s President and CEO.

This is incredibly exciting news for Canada, and it is clearer now than ever before that Canada’s future will be powered by wind, solar and storage.
