The Right PPE Protects Every Shift

Personal Protective Equipment is one of the most visible parts of drilling safety—but it is only effective when the correct equipment is selected, properly fitted, regularly inspected and consistently worn.

On an active drilling site, PPE helps protect teams from moving equipment, falling objects, excessive noise, flying particles, chemical exposure, poor visibility and challenging ground conditions.

Essential drilling-site PPE may include:

Safety helmet for head protection
Safety glasses or goggles for flying particles and fluid splashes
Hearing protection around operating drilling equipment
High-visibility clothing to improve visibility around vehicles and machinery
Suitable gloves for handling rods, tools, core and drilling consumables
Steel-toe, slip-resistant safety boots for uneven or wet ground
