I made money in my business...so why doesn't it FEEL like I made money? 🤑

That's a great question!
The answer usually isn't, "You're imagining it." 😅

Revenue comes in...
Then payroll, supplies, taxes, rent, software, merchant fees, debt payments, equipment, and approximately 47 other things come along and say, "Hi! 👋"
😂

This is why looking at your profit & loss AND your cash flow matters.
Making money and having money available to spend are two very different things.

Confession time...

Every time I think, "I should really post on my business page," I immediately find something else that feels more important.
Fast forward a few weeks (or months 🙈), and now it feels awkward because it's been so long...
So I continue not posting.

It's a very efficient cycle. 😂

Anyone else spend more time serving clients than remembering to tell people you're serving clients? 🙋‍♀️

🚨 IMPORTANT IRS UPDATE: Meals & Entertainment Changes for 2026

👉Effective 01/01/26, employee-provided meals that were previously 50% deductible (including office snacks, break room coffee, and convenience meals), ARE NO LONGER DEDUCTIBLE.

💡 What this means for your business:
If you regularly provide food or drinks for your team, this could increase your taxable income in 2026.

✔️ Now is a good time to:
• Review your current spending on employee meals
• Adjust your 2026 budget if needed
• Talk with your bookkeeper or tax pro about smart planning strategies

If you’re hitting “submit” today — congrats! 🎉
And if you’re not quite ready, that’s okay too — here are a few quick, friendly reminders:

✅ Need more time? File an extension!
An extension gives you until October to file your return — but remember, it does not extend the time to pay any taxes owed.

💰 Quarterly estimates are due too
If you’re self-employed or have additional income, your Q1 estimated tax payment is due today as well.

• Federal payments: IRS Direct Pay or EFTPS: https://www.irs.gov/payments
• Pennsylvania: myPATH (PA Department of Revenue): https://mypath.pa.gov/_/

⚠️ Important: Even if you file an extension, try to pay what you can now to avoid penalties and interest.

Tip #2: Tax Filing Deadlines!

S-Corp & Partnership ⏰
If you’re an S-Corporation or Partnership, your federal return is due March 15 (unless extended).
That includes:
• Form 1120-S
• Form 1065

Sole Proprietors & Single-Member LLCs 🧾
If you file Schedule C with your personal return, your deadline is April 15.

Make sure your income and expenses are fully reconciled before handing things to your tax preparer. ✅
