Monday mood! Original content vs stock photography? Original, why? Click 👇

1. Picture Superiority Effect: you’re not the only one using the photo, probably another company with a negative reputation, in your potential client’s mind, has used it. Therefore, you will automatically lose them due to the negative association they have already associated with the image. Images trump text.

2. Clients want you and need to trust you. How can they form a valid opinion if you use a generic image? Give them authenticity, an insight into your values.

Stock photography may be cost effective, but is there really a price on trust?
