Just back from intensive days in working with local and international in one the most beautiful locations of Kyrgryzstan…
Invited by the , I had the honour to faciliate conflict analysis process which implied updating and revising the systems conflict analysis on Kyrgyzstan and doing sub-systemic analysis of conflict dynamics in Central Asia.
All these pieces of work will inform the upcoming and inspiring activities in and in September 2024 (see for more information on this year’s off- and online programme and for the report of last year’s event see http://yntymakweek.org/ ), which the Peacebuilding Hub is also hosting and organizing this year in honour of the International Day of Peace .
The is a vibrant, informal network of Acted, International Alert , PeaceNexus Foundation in Central Asia, Saferworld, Search for Common Ground Kyrgyzstan , Office of the UN Resident Coordinator Kyrgyz Republic, UN Women Kyrgyzstan Country Office, working in Kyrgyzstan and Central Asia.
Many important lessons and observations on running highly process in a short time with a very tight budget. (Dancing (in the dark) after long evening sessions helped, at least me…:) I am convinced more than ever that bringing the right people together can produce small miracles, even more so if the location radiates as much beauty and positive vibes as the Issyk-Kul lake.
