Sold today in the shop — this iconic and long-discontinued Cartier Trinity.

One could almost call it neo-vintage today, and I genuinely believe the value trajectory for pieces like this will only continue upward. There is still a window to buy these before they become truly unattainable.

I remember very clearly that less than ten years ago, Must de Cartier watches — in nearly every shape and variation — could easily be found in Switzerland for under 300 CHF in excellent condition. Hardly anyone paid attention to them back then.

Today, the market appetite is undeniable, prices have multiplied several times over, and collectors are finally recognizing the timeless design language Cartier mastered decades ago.

Congrats to my client for finally pulling the trigger on this beautiful Cartier Trinity — a timeless design with far more upside ahead than most people still realize.

Late 1960s ultra thin dress watch, by Jaeger-LeCoultre

A pure expression of Jaeger-LeCoultre’s late-60s design language: sharp lines, architectural proportions and the discreet elegance of a steel case. A seldom-seen reference, highly sought after for its minimalism and very limited production.

Audemars Piguet, early 1970s

A remarkably preserved example from Audemars Piguet’s golden era of artisanal production.

Crafted in the early 1970s, this white-gold lady’s watch combines classic aesthetics with uncompromising technical finesse.

The 22 mm case and integrated bracelet are finely executed by Jean-Pierre Ecoffey, one of Geneva’s most respected goldsmiths of the period. The piece shows approx. 50 g net of solid 18-carat white gold, fully hallmarked.

The dial is a true highlight: an 18-carat brocaded “flower pattern” gold dial, exceptionally sharp in texture and tone. 13 brilliant-cut diamond hour markers are set as hour indices, while the white-gold hands are diamond-set as well — a detail seldom seen even on bespoke AP creations of the time. Definitely high grade!

Inside beats the hand wound Audemars Piguet calibre K2050/B, a finely constructed small mechanical movement with perfect finishing, representative of the maison’s discreet haute horlogerie in the pre-Quartz era.

Rare, elegant, and produced in extremely small numbers, this example represents the kind of refined craftsmanship that seldom re-emerges on the market.
