Once you flip, you never go back.

But the all new is even better with its triple Hasselblad camera, telephoto lens and super chic retro design.

What really gets me hooked is the optimized vertical cover screen that serves as my mirror and monitor when taking photos and videos.
IT'S A GAME CHANGER!

How INCREDIBLE it is to see fashion history through the lens of Azzedine Alaia.

I'm so grateful to have seen this extraordinary exhibition of Azzedine Alaïa's personal collection of pieces from the birth of Haute Couture to acclaimed contemporary designers, curated by

The master couturier and his collection of couture from other masters is the second Azzedine Alaïa exhibition currently running in Paris.

The exhibition showcased an extensive 140 pieces from Cristobal Balenciaga, Jacques Fath, Adrian, Elsa Schiaparelli, Coco Chanel, Worth, Charles James, Paul Poiret, Jean Patou, Christian Dior, Yves Saint Laurent, Hubert de Givenchy, and many others... The final salon houses a tableau of his collection of contemporary couture pieces from Comme des Garçons, Junya Watanabe, Vivienne Westwood, John Galliano, Thierry Mugler, Jean Paul Gaultier, Nicolas Ghesquiére, Yohji Yamamoto, and Alexander McQueen.

I greatly admire his appreciation for fashion outside his own world. It's testament to his humility, love for the craft, and devotion to fashion history.

The MUSES

Veteran model ’s journey began when she was discovered at a Bulacan panciteria after leaving her factory job. Transitioning from modeling to photography after a period of self-critique, she produced scarves and a fashion line printed with her own images from her book collaboration

, known as "thirdworldbb," went viral for creating couture outfits from scrap materials in her Cebu backyard. She was discovered on Instagram by Mugler to become the first q***r Filipino to walk the runway for the label— and the first Filipino to do so since the '90s.

Manila-born started making waves when she was just 17 and already gracing the catwalks of Bottega Veneta, Chloe, and Miu Miu. Her journey wasn’t without its hurdles, but as she shares, "all the things I was bullied about were affirmed when I started modeling. I was told, ‘That’s your identity,’ ‘That’s your individuality,’ and that gave me confidence in myself.”

A celebration on all fronts.

Of 365 days of Filipino story telling of people, places, beauty, culture and fashion

Of age, gender, and racial diversity

Of collaborations connecting filipino creatives from different parts of the world.

Of our origins and heritage

Of muses and makers, artists and artisans

Of local creatives defining Filipino craftsmanship

On the northern highlands, together with Sharif, Melissa, Jo Ann, Lukresia, and Rina, we weave a story on high craft and hand made; artisanal craftsmanship, reworking vintage, and upcycling. We relearn old techniques that can be reintroduced for future fashion systems.

With this story we revisit our heritage which is rooted on the artisanal and places it alongside global designers who are masters of their craft.

This story is an invitation to rethink fashion, to go back to the past to see our future.

Apo Maria “Whang-Od” Oggay symbolizes the strength and beauty of the Filipino spirit.

Heralded as the last mambabatok of her generation, she has imprinted the symbols of the Kalinga tribe—signifying strength, bravery, and beauty—on the skin of thousands of people who have made the pilgrimage to Buscalan. “When visitors come from far away,” Whang-Od says in the Butbut language, “I will give them the tatak Buscalan, tatak Kalinga for as long as my eyes can see.”

What is beauty? For the second Global Open Call, endorsed by all Vogues worldwide, we invite artists to submit work in photography or video that answers the question: What does beauty mean today? As all corners of the world experience cultural shifts, so too must the idea of beauty evolve beyond gender, stereotypes, and clichés.

The Open Call runs through Picter from March 1 to May 15. Submissions are free. Everyone is welcome to apply—the only requirement is to be at least 18 years old. You may submit even if you have been selected from our previous Open Calls as long as you propose a new project.

Work selected by our jury will be included in the 2023 PhotoVogue Festival in Milan and will have the chance to be featured in an issue of Vogue. Additionally, the two artists who submit the most compelling and meaningful work will be granted $5,000 USD each to further their artistic endeavors and support their growth.

Stay tuned for the full jury announcement soon.

Tap the link in bio of to find out how to submit.
