Live Green promotes a sustainable, eco-friendly lifestyle & community by providing information, implementing projects and offering alternative products.

We are a group of people who no longer wish to stand idle and watch our environment get hurt. We came together to make a difference. Our intentions are driven by responsibility, not by money. We strive to rebalance the way we live and interact with nature, to shift the human mindset towards a green way of living. A way that is sustainable, a way that we can proudly pass on to our future generation

s. It is a big goal, a goal that we can only achieve if we all stand together. Step by step. Changes start small, sparked by simple ideas. But in order to make those ideas reality we need your help, we need the support of everyone. We built this platform to reach out to you, to spread the word and to create a community of people with a green mindset. We believe that our wellbeing is strongly bond to that of the nature around us, if the nature is healthy and abundant, then we can live healthy and fulfilled as well. We believe in embracing the nature rather than working against it. Therefore Live Green will also raise awareness towards current environmental problems, such as environmental pollution and wasting. Problems first have to be recognized before they can be solved. At the moment of writing, Live Green is taking serious actions on reducing excessive packaging and plastic bag wasting. We tend to focus on promoting multi-purpose products that could help us reduce unnecessary wasting and consumption.

Begleite mich zu einem gemütlichen Abend, an dem ich dich in die Welt des Furoshiki einführen, die traditionelle japanische Kunst, Tücher zu falten und zu binden, um schöne und praktische Taschen oder Geschenkverpackungen zu gestalten.

Du lernst einfache Knotentechniken, erfährst mehr über die Geschichte und Bedeutung von Furoshiki und geniesst dazu einen feinen Apéro Riche, liebevoll zubereitet von Mani’s Coffee & Bagels. 🥗🍷

Once, I believed rituals were merely a delay in fulfillment. Yet, as I blend water with the fine green powder in my Matcha bowl, I understand differently. These precise, intentional movements are not postponements, but portals to mindfulness. They craft a moment for the soul's voice to rise and be honored. This daily practice, once perceived as a wait, has blossomed into a profound communion with myself. It is in the serene swirl of Matcha where acceptance is cultivated, and through this gentle ritual, compassion unfolds, laying the foundation for enduring peace.

🎨 Looking for an easy and beautiful way to keep your kids entertained at home? Try watercolor painting with the theme of fruits! I choose Watercolors because it brings good mood and are easy to clean. 😄✨

🍉🍍 Let your little artists explore their favorite summer fruits with this simple method: separate tissue napkins into thin layers and let them color with a small brush, or cotton sticks, or simply roll the tissue into small ball and dip it into wet water color pads. 🎨💦
Help them open it up to dry, or best if they can wait, let the towel dry before opening them! Display them at home to make them feel proud like little artists!

I recently used cucumber and black ink to create mesmerizing half-moon shape prints! 🌒 Each print turned out unique, just like the mysterious moon itself. 🌌✨

Camping always makes me rethink the purpose of life and regain appreciation to what I have.
Over the weekend, we stayed over nights at the camp site yvordon VD8 with our tent. Friday evening we had some rain. When the rain drops hit on our tent, it made some loud sounds. The kids and I cuddled together with a bit worry and excitement. Even though their dad promised us that the roof will hold, but we still kept a bit nervousness and enjoyed such bit of insecurities. It might be strange to think of, but sleeping in the nature, even with a tent made us feeling dependent, vulnerable and respect to the weather.

This insecured and dependent feelings made "Survival" again our primary purpose. Tuned down all our expectations and standards in definition of comfort. That soon we felt the greatness of having each other's company and appreciated the tent for keeping us dry.

Living with essentials can't ensure us an optimal life quality but it for sure helped us seeing how minimal things we actually would need to survival and how abundant items we already have.

During the years that I have been living in Switzerland, I really appreciate the freedom that we can choose between a mordern, secured life and a simple retreat back to the nature.

As you can see, furoshiki was my favorite element in either place. It's simpleness allow me to put different purposes in it. If you already have one, try to find different ways to use it. And you would be amazed how useful it is and how creative you actually are.
